Guys or girls.. need some input here plz?

Question:
i play on a boys soccer team because according to my teammates i play like a boy well anyway every year the younger grades and older grades mix up teams and scrimmage for fun .my friend who is a goalie ended up on the other team. the game went on and i got to kick a penalty shot . well it went right through the goalie(my friends) hands and drilled him in the nuts (i was not aiming there) he was down for like 5 min and the whole time i was apologizing and saying it was an accident and i didn't mean it.he got up and gave me a dirty look and after the game he yelled at me for "putting him through so much pain and i never should've kicked that hard". well he got me mad so i told him he could've just caught it but then i felt bad cuz i know it hurts and i apologized yet again well he stalked off and hasn't talked to me in days. I think he is being unreasonable and don't know how to reconcile with him.. how about some input on the situation?

Answers:
let him cool off...he may be mad cuz a girl did this to him...he shouldnt be mad...he is the goalie so he should have known what to do to prevent what happend.

Other Answers:
hes embarrassed that he didnt block the goal infront of his friends or more so a girl..give him time..immaturity is the main part of guys! good luck
if he is going to act like that he needs to stop playing sports and take up chess. it may be because you are a girl. dont stop playing because he cant take it. you could make it to the olympics!
I agree with the person above me. He may be embarassed, but that does hurt. A lot, trust me.
ok im a dude and if any1 else did that he would be bad but laugh it off. ooo i does hurt
That stinks.

Im so sorry youve had a falling out with your friend. Dont worry, he will come around. Just give him some space. At te most, you can write him a letter with a lot of complimenting in it, as far as his goalie skills go. Another good thing you can do, is to tell people what a great goalie he is, etc...

Things will work out, just let him have his space...

Keep an athletic supporter on hand (an extra large, lol) and wrap it up for him, all nicely, with a special card, that reads "You have giant cajones, buddy. Thanks for being a good friend"... and just give hm this present if he accepts your apology, for a litle humor... or as a last ditch effort to win him back, and get him laughing again. Laughter is always the best medicine.
I agree he is being totally unreasonable. Its a game and you were just playing your best. people should expect to get hurt in sports. I mean why wasnt he wearing a cup? I would just let him cool off and try to talk to him in a few days. Tell him that you're sorry and you dont know what else to say to make it better. when you say something like that it makes people look at how they're acting and he will eventually come around
Buy him some sticky gloves and a catcher's cup - he should think it's funny, if not, he is a loser!
Dear,
Anyone can get hurt in games. If your friend can't get this simple thing in his plumb head then he should not take part! Moreover, even after your apologising, which was not needed at all and lot of reasoning, he didn't realises, how can you consider him a FRIEND! He is a pig. Just kick him off. HE IS NOT A FRIEND BUT A SIMPLE ACQUAINTANCE. Don't fret over it. May you meet some real friends in future!
well, in sports, its common to have injuries. well, in his case, its truly painful because the impact on his groin will be great. as such he will sure to be on the ground crouching in pain. Well, maybe getting him a cup supportter for the groin is a gift that will sure help him alot. Maybe you can tell him, that this is something that can help him prevent any future impact at the groin again when playing soccer. Do not worry, maybe he was just embarassed as everyone saw it. Give him some time. he will get over it soon. Besides, no one expected the ball to aim there. So he will sure be understanding in it.
Well his anger is right! wish you have balls to feel his pain.
