How do you get rid of a cramp after swimming?

Question:
Also what should I do to keep them from coming. I got huge cramps in both of my legs ater my first swim team practice today.

Answers:
Pull your toes towards your knee and rub the muscles up and down with the back of your fingers and hand. Long ways, NOT side to side!

Stretch completely with good effort.

Eat a banana 1/2 hour before swimming. You will feel a big difference in how you perform and how your body deals with energy and cramps.

Eat something salty after you finish swimming. That will trap the water into your muscles.

Never drink anything with alcohol or caffeine for the rest of the day. It will ruin your workout. NO TEA!!!
Drink Tea
