My son has a white bump on his penis what is this?

Question: Ok my son is a toddler and he isn't circumsized.. I noticed that he has been pulling his penis alot lately but it wasnt until about an hour ago that he's been saying ouch..my husband recently got laid off of work and we lost our health insurance, I am so scared.. what could this be? its where the foreskin attaches to the penis.. there is a bump underneat the foreskin right were it connects to the tip penis.. I'm sorry I dont know how else to describe it. It isnt red or anything but it looks like it is a ingrown pimple but only bigger and it feels hard he wont let me touch it to try to squeeze it.. have any of you had this?

I would most deffinetly NOT try to squeeze it. It could be just an irritation bump or something from his diapers. Rub some vaseline on it when you put him in a diaper and see if that helps. It could be that it's just too dry all the time in there or something, or that he's not being cleaned properly in that area after you change his diaper. So either rub some vaseline (**NOT** Vick's Vapor Rub! or anything with MENTHOL) or if that's too irritating to his skin try some anti-biotic ointment or something. Hope this helps! go to CVS and ask them if there is any cream you can use.

OK, first of all, if he is not circumcise, the foreskin that is attaches to his penis maybe about to set up an infection, if that the case. Which it can do that , that child need to have it circumcise asap. After that happen he will be all right. I had a never that wasn't circumcised before and he started to hurt and his dad took him and have him circumcises and he got all right. if he don't get circumcises, when he pee, it will burn and can cause irrational. so the best to do is take him to county health dept and let them help you. all i have to say is that it most definitely an infection of the scrotum. i don't thinks its very bad (from what you said),but you should definitely get him to a doctor pretty soon. definitely do not try to pop it otherwise the infection may spread but to me its probably a pimple,sis or boil of some sort.
first go to a pediatrician they might send you to a skin doctor if its serious.
