To save shaving every day, can I safely have laser hair removal to my face?

Question: Its such a bind shaving each day, then by lunchtime the 'five o'clock' shadow is already there. Can men have their beards permanently removed?

No. I don't want to look like a beardy weirdy by not shaving altogether.
