Guys, how often do you change razors?

Question:
I use a Gilette Mach 3, and don't grow a lot of facial hair. However, it seems the blades start pulling and cutting after about a week or a week and a half of shaving only my upper lip.

Just to give you an idea of how much facial hair we're talking- if I don't shave for a week, I have less hair on my upper lip than most women I know. (It's just that it comes in dark and thick, so it looks really odd)

It seems I'm going through blades faster than men who grow a full beard by five o'clock!

Answers:
I change every time I kill someone.

Oh, you mean shaving.
I use a blade until I have to shave the same place three times. (I usually forget to buy blades)

Other Answers:

i change every other week. u should change ur razor at list after every 3rd or 4th shave cause afetr while without change it u goen start havin razor bumps and thats not pretty

I use cheap razors. They last me 3 weeks.

I have a medium fast growing beard.

Change when it is hurting you, I am also having less facial hair and from the past 6 months i am using the same gillete mach 3. I use the same thing, and I'm lucky to get 6-7 shaves before the blades dull, I found by rinsing the razor in extremely hot water after shaves then drying it off well, sometimes helps to prevent fast dulling. Above all don't let anyone else use your razor, and don't dry shave with it.

i have a very tough beard and i have the mach 3 two i save every other day if im home the whole week and i have to only change every two weeks. so your wasting good razors

The Gillette corporation suggests changing after 5 uses out of the razor. After it can irritate your skin and more likely cut you.
