Is it true that when you shave your chest hair, it grows back thicker than it previously was?

Question:
This is an ongoing debate that needs to be settled. Seriously.
Thanks.

Answers:
not really thicker, but yes in about 2-3 mo you will notice more hair.... same with shaving face, legs etc. But everyone has a different set of hair folliciles. LOL so you cant make hair grow in where there are none to begin with.

Other Answers:
NO! Okay... you only have so many pores that your hair can grow out of. Only one hair grows from each pore/folical. Only now and then does more than one hair grow from one.
try it you'll like it as for me I'm still super gluing hairs to my chest so i can say i have some
quicker and thicker
No, that is a myth. You are born with a predetermined number of hair follicles on your body. If that were true, balding men could simply shave their heads to obtain a fuller head of hair. Also, the diameter (thickness) of each individual hair is genetically predetermined.
