if i get a pain in the left hand side of my abdomen when drinking what could that mean?

Question:

Medical question, its been going on for ages, when i go out boozing sometimes (not all) i get a horible pain in my left hand side that wont go away till the morning at which point its like it was never there! Any ideas? (im male)

i have no idea what it could be but i would bring it up to you doctor. it doesnt sound good. Could be a liver problem of some type as alcohol affects the liver and kidneys. Either way it doesnt sound good.

see a surgeon soon. the most probable cause can be a renal colic. go to the doctor and get it checked out.
