It depends, a lot of guys do, but they wouldn't tell anyone. Personally I prefer it to looking like a monkey. That is if you talking about down under.
As far as the face, I think some guys look better with a nice beard, I do not. As for the chest, if you look like a 13 year boy, and you're in your 20's or 30's, maybe you should just shave it.

If they are guys and still produce testosterone, they will shave. That is, if they do not want to look like Santa Clause.
