50years man with lumber disc prolapse with sever radiculopath in l3 l,4?

Question:
what is the best surgical manegment

Answers:
I am not sure what it is called but I just saw it on TV. There now is a surgery where they insert a small metal device that prevents discs from rubbing together. This is a very new thing. I know the surgeon is American but he has a Middle Eastern sounding last name. Ask your doctor if he's heard about the new surgery.
Have you tried epidural injections (spinal blocks)? Usually that is tried first, but if it didn't/doesn't work you have to see a neurosurgeon, only he/she can tell you what type of surgery you need and what they are comfortable performing, IF they want to do it at all.
