are there laws regarding shut off point at work when it is 100 dgrees or over?

Question:

Answers:
It depends on where you are. Generally, such laws would only be in place for work areas where there is no A.C. In the United Arab Emirates (Dubai, for example), there are labor laws against working outdoors when the temperature goes over 100, so officially, the temperature never goes over 100. That way, the local owners of construction companies can keep the Indian and Pakistani laborers at work all summer. But backyard thermometers there frequently hit 115 or higher in the summer.

wouldn't u die?
I HONESTLY THINK THERE SHOULD BE. THIS SUMMER HAS BEEN A SCORCHER AND ALOT OF PEOPLE ARE GETTING SICK FROM STAYING OUT IN THE HEAT. I THINK IT SHOULD BE A LAW IT WOULD SAVE ALOT OF PEOPLES LIVES!
yea some business would be better off closing. if they rely on walk in customers. there is no one on the streets because its so hot. some local restuarants around here lost A/C and it got over 100 degrees inside their lobbys...i dont know why they didnt close.
