7 hours' sleep enough for a 34 year-old man?

Probably that's just about right, if you're active. Of course, everyone's different... some people need more or less. But I've read that 7 hrs is the median time period adults need for daily sleep.

Sure it is. You can survive on a lot less if you have to. There are a few that don't sleep at all. I've done three hours for a couple of years. It's all about what you need and must do.
