Should men wax?

Question:

There's already a few questions covering this, however, a lot of the time the response is 'no they shouldn't, men are supposed to be hairy'. Well so are women, but they still wax, shave etc. Women still have hairy armpits. In some cultures that's considered sexy.. So the reason for men not to wax can't be 'because they're supposed to be hairy'.

Veet even have products specifically aimed at men 'Veet for men'. Now Veet would not market these products unless they did market research and found out that men actually would buy waxing products aimed at them. So men obviously want to wax. However, it's still very taboo unless you're a swimmer, body builder etc. However, I'm sure in the near future it'll be less taboo for men to be waxing just as much as women do. Women don't want hairy backs, yet they're complete hypocrits saying they 'do' want somewhat hairy legs. If the back hairs coming off, then so might the leg hair, chest. Get used to it, the future is smooth, the future is hairless.

I think overly hairy backs and neck beards are gross on guys, but hairy anywhere else is good. It's not because they're "supposed" to be hairy, but because in OUR culture, not the rest of the world, it's more acceptable. Smooth skin on women is sexy, and guys are more likely to keep the hair which grows. Remember, more hair, more stink.

I dunno. We should have differences between the sexes but it's so nice to look good. I don't mean waxing as that's just dumb but it's nice to wear a nice suit or do our hair neat and tidy. Even shaving's nice, and we're not allowed to do that.

Less hair less smell. If they look icky when hairy then they should. If they look sexier with hair they shouldn't.

As a man I wax my eyebrows (not to much) shave my pits/legs etc. It just looks cleaner.

depends man, i got really light straight hairs and i certainly don't need too, but there are some exceptions. i mean some guys chest hair peaking out of polo shirts make me sick. back hairs are nasty and some even got ear hair man! people don't forget to wax ur ears!!

I think that the old and prime feature personalizing and distinguish between male and female just is the hair in general.
Lately in the society, there already has been a general flattening with the loss of some values by the right purpose to get no sexual distinction. It’s alright but I believe the hair as the inmost men characteristic and for that just should be showed off.
[BTW, medically hairs just get their specific function even!]
