Of course you are going to feel bad, you have just been humiliated in front of god knows how many people. These people are saying this to try and make you feel bad, but the reality is they are just jealous. Don't give them the satisfaction of knowing they have mad you feel bad. Take it with a grain of salt mate, pretend that it does not affect you at all and they will eventually leave you alone as they will get sick of not getting a bite from you.
