I work outdoors in Arizona and sweat heavily all day and my hair seems to be thinning is sweating the cause?
Answers:
I've lived in Arizona all my life, and I've never heard of anybody losing hair because of sweating...but then again, dogs do shed in the summer time...
On the other hand, I think stress can lead to thinning hair.
And sun exposure can affect the skin of your scalp, which could affect your hair, I suppose.
Be sure to protect your skin with sunblock and a hat...skin cancer rates are pretty high in Arizona.
Hope you don't lose any more hair, but if you do at least you'll be cooler!
