Left testicle in pain can you help?
Question:
Answers:
my hubby had testicular cancer - he went in with the same complaint. Why give the possiblilty of cancer growing in him the chance, find a doc asap to see him. they will do an ultrasound and if it looks like a tumor then he will most likely lose his testicle. this isnt a problem, one testicle can maintain his hormone levels and depending on his age, he may get by with out both of them. Depending on the type of cancer, he will then have either chemo (mine didn't) or further surgery (mine did), they cut from diaphragm to just above the pubic hair line, this is to get to the lymph nodes along the back. Hubby had what they called a nerve sparing surgery which they could do since none of the lymph nodes showed cancer. Even tho, this is where you need to ask lots of questions, my hubby lost ejaculation, but still has erection and orgasm - we were lucky. Some may lose other functions some none, Depending on your age and family status, you may need to deposit sperm in a bank in case you want children and want to be certain you will be able to...
Bottom line - get to doc and ask lots of questions.
Good luck to you! - It's a very curable cancer.
Find a clinic or somewhere that he can get examined right away.
