Rolled tobacco or cigarettes: is either worse?

Question:

OK so all smokers die a nasty, painful death, we all know that. But is either a bit less damaging? I heard all the additives in cigarettes add a lot of extra poisons, like the zinc rings in the paper that keep it burning. Personally, I find rollies less addictive, and I smoke less each time. Ah, maybe I'm kidding myself.

I agree with you. I don't smoke anymore, but when I did smoke, at one point I switched to rolling my own smokes and I felt like I needed a smoke a lot less.

Another thing, take a normal cig with a filter, like a Camel... Take a big puff then blow it through a folded paper towel. Next do the same thing with a rolled cigarette next too the brown mark from the first normal cig... When I did this the normal Cigs mark was allways much darker and nastier, even though it has a filter on it.
