if you watch t.v. try doing ten to twenty per commercial until you go to bed. this is what Herschall Walker did during college. he lifted no free weights and had 3% body fat when he came to the nfl

push ups are a waste of time. if you want to build muscle mass of any degree= lift weights.

There is no benefit from sending all that blood into your muscle walls to just lie down afterwards, and hope your heart will re-assert it while it beats at 60bpm while you sleep.

Depends if you want cut or bigger muscle.

Cut = more repetition
Bigger muscle = less rep and do harder versions.

Cut: if you cant do it on the floor, put your arms up on a chair to get less weight.
Do 20 reps
, 30 sec rest
, 20 rep
, 30 sec rest
, 15 rep
, 30 sec rest
and 15 rep.

For bigger muscle: do the same thing as cut but lower it down to 10, 13, 15. If you can do the fine on the floor, then slide your feet up a wall or put them on a chair.

Also understand push ups only work chest, triceps and slight shoulder. maybe a gym would be a better place.
