If u shave when ur facial hair is long, it cuts nicely. When short, it pulls and causes bleeding. How to stop?

Question:
So, when I let my facial hair grow fairly long, so it looks like i need to shave, and then I shave, it gives me a nice clean cut look. However, lets say I shave when I dont necessarily need a shave, but also one couldnt hurt, it winds up causing me too bleed becasue its pulling the hair since its too short. How you can avoid this?!

Answers:
Your blade isn't sharp enough. To keep your blade sharper longer, only rinse it with cold water, to prevent hard water scaling that dulls the blade. After shaving, immerse the blade in rubbing alcohol, because it lifts the water from the blade and, unlike water, will evaporate without leaving a residue.

You probably won't like to hear it, but it also helps if you shave every day, because the whiskers don't have a chance to grow out and get thick and tough that way.

Other Answers:
Are you using an electric shaver or a razor? If you are using a razor make sure that you are always using a sharp blade.

Good shaving cream + good razor.
