Use some lube....

If you aren't using lubed condoms then get some. If you are the add lube to the inside and outside on the condom (I'm an astroglide fan) Or go down on her before you actually put it in. She'll be wetter and more open and you'll have an easier target.

It sounds to me that the girl is tightening up. Does she really want to have sex with you, or pretending? Try a lubricant.
