Is it weird to eat your toenails?

Question:
I've been lacking calcium in my diet and I know that toenails are mostly calcium. I asked my doctor what he thought but I'm not sure he speaks English very well. I know it's pretty unconventional but I think my toenails are a good source for wasted minerals.

Any ideas?

Answers:
Just make sure you take the polish off first.nail polish has toxins in it. Otherwise, enjoy! If you are also low on protein, semen is a great source!

Go get some calcium tablets sicko. yeah, um, no..sperm is full of nutrients too, mainly fructose, but i dont suggest u start eating that! lol.

increase calicum uptake, youghurt, cheese, milk, etc.

LOL that is so sick!! Toenails, as well as fingernails and hair, are NOT good calcium sources. They are mostly keratinized protein.

If you don't savor the idea of typical sources of calcium -- dairy foods -- be confident in the knowledge that dark green veggies and many nuts are high in calcium. You could simply do a Google search for "foods high in calcium".

While it's true that there are far more parasites living under the nail edges of the hand as compared to the foot, it's still not a good idea to consume toenails -- assuming you are actually serious!

Good Luck.
:)

toenails contain calcium, but not that much because toenails is dominated by proteins same with our hair,,,it is rich in protein than calcium,,,,a person eathinh his nails shows a sign of emotional or mental disorder,,,,better see you're psychiatrist.
