You are underweight according to the BMI charts.you certainly are not fat that is for sure. I am sure that you are thin, which is fine, but I would not try to lose any weight.

This second site says that your ideal weight is 172 if you are a man and 155 if you are a woman !! So you are severly underweight - I have no idea why you are calling yourself fat!
I have posted some links to pages located on WebMD that may help you. WebMD is not a website made up of fad information. When it comes to weight loss, diet, nutrition, and exercise, there is a lot of false information out there. WebMD is a website that comes from medical professionals and is intended to be a site where regular folks like you and I can go for real answers. Please read through each of the articles when you have time and feel free to search WebMD yourself. I do not know if you are anorexic or not. I don't want to say that you are, because, what if you are not and go around thinking that you are? I will say that most people who are underweight tend to see themselves in the mirror as being fat when they are really not. Loose, saggy, untoned skin can make one look "fat" even though they are not overweight. They just need to get more muscle tone--get in shape--by exercising so that skin and muscle will shape up. Do not be afraid to see your doctor. And don't ever compare yourself to celebrities and models. Every generation of young people that came before you in this modern age has had problems in comparing themselves to celebrities and trying to look like them. More research has come out in the past few years that reveals men can have problems with anorexia and bulimia just like women. Some of these men have struggled with it for decades, having first developed the problem when they were in high school or in college. Sometimes it started for them when they were on the wrestling team. I have no idea if you have an eating disorder. I hope I did not sound bossy or insensitive, but please be proactive about researching this topic from the viewpoint of true medical professionals. If it turns out that you need to gain weight, then please find out how to do that in a healthy way (don't eat cheeseburgers--all that fat and cholesterol will clog your arteries over time and you can get heart disease, even at a young age). Good luck.
