Heat Rash??


Question:
Is this a heat rash I have small pimples in my back, legs, arms, and chest if I do some exercise I usualy don't sweat alot and when I do exercises or it's hot outside my back, legs, arms, and chest become very itchy could this be a heat rash. THANKS!!

Prickly heat...it's miserable...there's a lot of home remedies that can help, but I'd call the doc and get some medical advice first. I had it once, and I was told to use some over the counter anti itch cream...Hydrocortisone I think it was, but the doc can give you a better one that will offer immediate relief.

It's called prickly heat. The affected areas are near and around your greatest area of circulation, your heart. and other major arteries. Its your body saying, " Cool it!"
The best thing to do is calm down, drink plenty of water, and if it's really bad try some Benedryl, *over the counter antihistamine. Plain corn starch kept in a cool freezer and sprinkled on will cool the burn for you inexpensively and efficiently. You can also try a little baking soda in your bath. Home remedies can be the cheapest and best sonetimes.
