Im 14 and want to gain Muscle by the end of summer?


Question:
im 14 5'10 and 145 pounds. im KIND of fit. im joining football and everyone is about 160-200. I am asking how can i train most of the week, what i need to eat, what kind kind of exercises i should do to make my muscles bigger and for me to be stronger? I REALLY NEED ADVICE. thanks.

Youre a good size for your age but since youre still growing you need to be carefull. I would try eating lots of protein and weight training with more weight and less reps. I would drink workout shakes but that is as far as I would go considering your age.

You should go see your doc first. You are almost to young to "bulk up". But, if you want to gain muscle weight, eat lots of calories and lots of weight lifting. You have to burn those calories up or you will get fat. Plus, most people think that lifting abunch of weights 4 hours a day is the trick, but you have to rest, very important. Do 3 sets of a good wieght, with the last set no more than 4 reps. Lots of protien and carbs. Do forget about cardio, gotta run. Dont want to be left behind while the other team is running circles around you. This is what I did, and still do. Hope this helps ya. good luck. And dont forget about seeing the doc first, very important! HERE'S AN IDEA, GYM (DUHHHHH) DON'T TOO MUCH SUGER ITEMS SUCH AS CANDY, CHOCOLATE, ICE CREAM AND ALL THAT JUNK. EAT BUT JUST DON'T EAT TOO MUCH.
