Is there still a possibitlity for a man who had a vasectomy to have another baby?
Question:
Answers:
Yes. But it is more expensive. He has two options. First of all, he can choose to have the vasectomy reversed. This is costly and it rarely works. The urologist calls it a success if there is sperm in the ejeculate; however this sperm is missing an enzyme that allows it to penetrate the correct egg in order to complete conception, thus the surgery can work but the couple can remain childless. The other option and the BEST one is a procedure where the urologist harvests some sperm from the testes (without needing to reconnect the vas from where it had been cut for the vasectomy) and an egg from the mother and allow fertilization to occur in the lab and then it is implanted in the mother. ICIS is the acronym for this procedure and I hear it is 50-75% effective. If you want a baby of your own - dont give up - check with an OB/GYN who specilaizes in infertility medicine. Best of luck!

NO
i suppose its possible if the surgery rehealed itself, i had a tubaligation and it healed and i got pregnant, also most of the more recent, in the last ten or twenty years, male surgeries can be reversed if that is the question.
Yes.He could have the operation"reversed"
-the results are not guarenteed
If I remember what I once read, there are different forms of vasectomy. Ligation is similar to tying a string around the vas deferens above the teste to prevent sperm from travelling upwards. Some vasectomies cut the tube completely in half or just part of the way so the sperm can't travel. Lord knows, with technology today, they can reverse the ligation or cuts to make the sperm flow. Plus there are always those freak accounts of nature where the vasectomied husband/boyfriend fathered a child.
It can be reversed. But my Friend (Actually, My boyfriend's sister's husband's sister, lol) is a product of conception while her dad had a vasectomy. He had the surgery and a few months later she was conceived. So although it's very rare, yes it can happen.
as most of antinconceptive methods vasectomy is not 100% effective. i have heard cases where some sperm is kept on the seminal conduts (is that ok?). so you'd better do it protected, 1 nevr knows
It is entirely possible for this to happen. One very common occurence is that men who are within the first month following the procedure have unprotected sex and, the sperm can still sustain life within this time period and survive in the Vas deferens. Like someone else said in here as well, the procedure is not guaranteed and is completely reversible. Bottom line is, wrap it up if you're really worried!
Some vasectomys can be reversed. And there's been some cases where it hasn't worked and the partner falls pregnant
