What is wrong with my hubby?

Question: For the past 3 months my husband right arm has gotten numb and tingly during the night. It rarely happens during the day, maybe once in a while when hes driving. It usually wakes him up during the night because he's in pain. Recently, his left arm started to do the same thing. Medication doesn't help. About a month ago he started to go to the chiropractor and was helping, somewhat. However, he stopped going. He works in construction, could that be contributing to the problem? Or is it something else?

sound like a pinched nerve. Seeing a neurologist for test can determine where the pinched nerve is and can generally 'cast' the site for sleep. I had this done for an ulner nerve pinch in my elbow. It helped. The doc also put me on vitamin b12 (or 6, I don't have the bottle with me) and vitamin e to help out.
