Food for hair?

Question:
What types of foods or vegetables or fruits that could dramatically help my hair become fuller or thicker or atleast healthier?

Answers:
I took care of a little boy whose mother seriously neglected him. He was grossly malnourished and his hair and fingernails were so thin.
When he first came to stay with me I used to put Knox gelatin in his chocolate milk and blend it with some ice to make shakes. (My own mother's idea) He took a vitamin every day and ate like a horse.

Within six months his hair was not only thick and shiney but a whole different color! It was a dull dishwater blonde when he came and when his father came to claim him it was rich reddish brown. (Don't worry about him, he's doing just fine now. In fact he just graduated high school!)

Unflavored gelatin is yucky alone but it really works.
