why is mud considered dirty?

Question:
I'm plastered in mud and filth most of the time.I don't understand why people shy away from me just because I'm caked in various layers of soil.I almost vomit at the stench of 'artificial' body lotions and shaving products...perfume makes me add to the soil in my caked trousers. Why are you all so anti filth?
I've just had a roll around in the garden and my neighbour just shouted 'nutter' at me.....is he being 'muckist'?

My nan used to spit on a tissue and wipe my face with it,that's not normal.Throwing a bucket of pigs faeces over myself is considered 'dirty'...what's the difference?

Answers:
The muckist b@stard! What's so wrong with rolling around in good organic dirt? Surely it makes more sense than immersing yourself in dodgy chemicals and the extract of a deer's abdominal gland.
There is no logic in this world.

Other Answers:
mud is dirty cause it is dirt and dirt is dirty thats how they got the name dirty so wet dirt is dirty
