Foreskin Questions?

Question:
My foreskin is very tight, I can pull it back when it is soft but when my penis is hard it is extremely difficult and slightly painful to pull back. Also the head of my penis is extremely sensitive, painful to touch under the foreskin and feels dry. This can be irratating when I am getting intimate because when the foreskin is pulled back it is very painful and not enjoyable as you can imagine. Does anyone have any solutions for this.

Answers:
First of all, while you're able to pull it back when soft you need to clean the area daily with water and mild soap. You seem to have a condition called phimosis.

In most cases of phimosis stretching exercises will resolve the issue. Simply take two fingers and stretch the opening of the foreskin as far as it'll go (like increasing its radius) without pain by hooking a finger on either side. Do this for a few minutes each day and after a few weeks it should be large enough to be pulled back comfortably even when erect. If this doesn't work there are prescription creams that're supposed to help. If that doesn't work there are still many other options before considering circumcision. Circumcision should be regarded as a last resort when all other options fail, or if the pain is too much to bear.

The sensitivity of the glans (penis head) is normal and is simply something you have to get used to. You can train yourself to get used to the sensitivity by keeping your foreskin back and exposing the glans to the air for a few minutes, that'll desensitize just enough probably. First try to resolve the tightness in your foreskin though.

The dryness of your glans isn't normal due to your foreskin. Again, keep the area clean and wash it at least once a day (but not excessively as that'll dry it out). If this doesn't help then you may have an infection. Such infections are easily taken care of with either oral medication or creams.
Try some non petroleum based lube (like KY Jelly), or otherwise get circumsized.

If the latter isn't an option and the former doesn't work, talk to your family practitioner.
Unfortunately you need to see a doctor. Most likely a urologist. This should have been remedied when you were a child. The urologist can help you solve this issue.
