They just do from time to time. Take a look down there and make sure you don't have some kind of rash. If you do, then see a doctor. Also, after you shower/bathe, don't put any kind of powder around your genital area. If you sweat a lot down there and wear briefs, you might want to switch to boxer shorts.

Put lotion on..maybe they are dry?
Obviously it is a skin irritation but,by what,take your little sperm banks to the doctor and I am sure he will enlighten you.
i could be that the hair on them is growing or maybe you not washin enough! lol!
One of the other posters is correct, sometimes it's dry skin. Try some lotion once or twice per day. If that helps, keep it up. If not, see a doctor.
Make sure not to get the lotion INSIDE the head of your penis. In addition to some pain, you can get a raging infection.

a lot of these posts are good ones. but one thing that is a really scary thought on this subject is. think about how many guys scratch and then chew their fingernails. men can sometimes be without precaution.. (ha ha)
