Right now, I am lifting weights every other day. I was wondering if I should keep doing this or lift everyday.

Every other day is fine for a sport like baseball, where quickness and hand-eye coordination are more important than strength. If you DO lift everyday, make sure you switch muscle groups, i.e. biceps and triceps one day, chest and back the next, legs the next, etc. Never use the same muscles on consecutive days. This is so they can repair on their off days: that is how they get bigger! Also, for baseball, I would recommed lighter weights with more reps. For example. curl a weight you can do 12-15 times, instead of trying to max out on a heavy weight you can only do 2-3 times. Lighter weights will stop you from getting too tight and losing quickness.
I hear arms one day the legs the next. also try to wear a heavy jacket with rocks in the pocket, this will help you jump higher when it is off.
Muscles grow only when you rest so working out everyday will be ineffective. The best way is to lift weight 3-4 days a week. This way u get stronger and dont strain your muscles. It worked for me. Also work out your legs so you can have more power in your swing. Good luck in your weight lifting and on your season.
