I am an introvert.?

Question:
I constantly laugh to myself in private and in public because I always have funny thoughts going through my head. Is there a way I can refrain from laughing (e.g. socializing more), and getting over my introvertedness? Thanks.

Answers:
build self-confidence but be yourself. share your interests with others. take risks in talking to strangers during parties and cocktails. consider any mistake a lesson to learn from. good luck. cheers!

Who finds this a problem? I think quiet people are more observant and seem calm and sweet. Extroverted people have to find a balance. Do not be too loud and cocky, just be open and freindly.
wow, sometimes i do thesame too. i don't think u can stop having the thoughts in ur head, but u could laugh in u as well. i mostly do that when i'm bored but control my smile, u could do same.
Nah. I laugh to myself all the time and if people look at me funny, I just tell them the funny thought that I had. Sometimes they get it, and sometimes they don't. Just be open to others and if you have a funny thought, share it with somebody. Then you won't be the only weirdo laughing.
Don't worry about it. I find it charming. It shows you are pretty much a happy person. Either that or a smart alec!
It's not bad to be an introvert. Just don't isolate yourself.
That describes me also, I have thoughts about some hilarious way of interactions. Sometime try to create some funny situation in my mind, which cause me cannot hold my breath and laugh out loud.

I grow to accept that and not minding those courious and puzzled people around have their eyes on me.

I guess some people would just ask you what are you up to, and if they are so presisstance, they will ask what sort of thoughts you just had. What I did, was just share my slightly changed funny thoughts to them. (since introverts humour is rather different from the extrovert humour.)
