If you're practicing just to try it out before you do the deed, try a dildo if you have it. Bananas do work, though make sure you peel them, then freeze them. Licking a banana with the peel on it is disgusting.
Cucumbers work too, and you can get creative and peel them so there's a head and shaft. Just use the skinny ones..I think they're called english cucumbers. Normal cucumbers are huge and if you cut them to size, you'll be sucking on seeds.
