My dad keeps burping a lot. It's like a reflex or something. He does consume alcohol when he socialises, sometimes even more than expected. What do you think ?

He probably drinks a lot of beer, which causes you to burp a lot.

Could be reflux disorder or what is called GIRD. Very treatable. If it has been going on for years, could be a nervous habit. Do not think it is related to the booze.

Talk with your mother. Next time dad burps out lour tell him that it is not polite to do in mixed company. Then tell him you are "all mixed up." He will remember that.

Tell him to calm down.
