Answers:
Sleeping pills? You been given a minor tranquilizer or a barbiturate? Barbiturates are prescribed for epilepsy so it may be that you have petit mal episodes of epiliepsy, or small seizures.

Other Answers:
Phone the hospital and speak with his secretary. Ask if you can have a non-clinic appointment as you are worried / confused.

You could also go and speak with your own family doctor.

Could it be a form of petit mal? I don't know, I'm not a medic.
call you dr. and if he wont talk to you or answere questions get a new dr that will take the time to explain things
Did you have any scans? Sounds as though it could be Epilepsy, or, as the answer above Say's, Petit Mal's.
Try the sleepers and see how it goes! Lets hope he/she's right!! You could a;way's see your GP for an explanation of your condition. The GP should be notified soon. Hope your feeling 100% soon!! x
