Would a doctor ever tell a patient to masturbate?

Question:
In scrubs one of the doctors said as part of your treatment Im going to ask you to masturbate 5 times a day. Would this or anything like it be ordered for any kind of disorder or anything?

Answers:
yes, it can actually help to prevent prostate cancer later in life, and can also be used to treat a UTI (urinary tract infection).
Yes, doctors say it's very healthy for males and females to masturbate as much as you want to.
It's possible... though I'm not sure that masturbation will prevent prostate cancer, there are a lot of other health factors that contribute to prostate cancer. eg: diet, genetics
But regular ejaculation does help prevent prostate cancer...

They regard regular ejaculation as 3 to 4 times a week.. not 3 - 4 times a day every day. Though 3-4 times a day is not abnormal for a teenager :-)
if they have never had wet dreams or sex by the time they are like 17 and never masturbated than a doctor can actuly perscribe masturbation and porn. i am a male nurse just so u know
it also helps with blue balls
