I am frustrated and wondering why my new guy of 4 months, doesn't want to fix his (sort of impotency) problem. What happens is, he gets an erection just fine, but if we don't hurry, within a few minutes he deflates. Sometimes he excuses it & says he is tired, sometimes he says since we didn't have protection he didn't want to take the chance, sometimes we had tried a condom & he deflates within minutes. We are hot for each other, he seems to be able to get off and stay up when he masterbates, I don't get it. For some reason, soon after he penetrates, he deflates. Sometimes it seems to be mind of matter...is this pshycological? He is 49, was a 100 mile a day bicylce rider, we have seen articles about the seat damaging and numbing the nerve down there, he wants to try horny goat weed, we are working on any yeast problems. He was exposed to a very hot toxic environment in his last job he quit a month ago, but he said this started happening before that job. Is it age? Is this every man?

I am 48, and while it may not work like it did when I was 16, it still works. The fact that he gets aroused, then loses it, makes me wonder if it's not something in his head. I know if I allow non-lovin thoughts in my head during, I might deflate as well.
If I might suggest something a little personal. If you sense things are going away. Without making a deal of it, help him... if you know what I mean. Make him think you want to, not need to.

I had the same thing happening,,no problem getting up,,just couldnt maintain..He wont seek medical help because he is embarrassed about it... My Dr. gave me samples of the big 3 and let me choose the one I liked best.. I only needed the help for a couple of weeks then was back to normal function...just talk hin to seeing a doctor.
