Do thos electric muscle stimulators work?
Question:
Answers:
No, they may make your muscles look "bigger" during and SHORTLY after finishing use of the machine, but the only way to grow muscle is to make it work.
Then you will never get HUGE. Like I said in other replies, it takes time and constant care. Even steriods take upkeep so get over the hurdle and start bench pressing.
And no electric muscle stimulators DONT work to my knowledge to improve muscle mass.
Sorry, man, they don't work. They don't increase your size down below, either. Believe me. I've tried. A lot.
i've used it before, they help, but only if you lift weights, they help you get bigger, but when you stop using it, it goes down to normal
I had those in physical therapy, after months of being motionless in a hospital (coma). I don't think they would do anything to a normal, healthy muscle, but some guys will try anything.
I don't think it can hurt. It may help blood flow and thereby, help exercise and muscle growth.
Not at all. If they did, physical therapists would all be winning the World's Strongest competitions. My mom is a physical therapist and certified weight trainer (among other things) and when I asked her about it, she said that the ONLY thing it could do for someone who was in ALMOST PERFECT athletic shape (ie an olympic gymnast) is oh-so-slighty raise the reaction time for the synapse response between the brain and the correct tissue.
For anyone else, it will do absolutely nothing.
Yes, I have used them and they do stimulate and therefore exercise the muscles, but only give muscle tone, not muscle growth to any extent.
