What should I have the doctor check/examine/feel/measur... when I go for my physical?

Question:
I am going for my complete physical in a few weeks. It is my first in nearly 5 years and I was wondering what tests I should have done and what I should tell my doctor to look at, check, examine, measure, etc. I am a 23 year old male if that helps.
Thanks!

Answers:
don't worry.. the doctor will give you a complete physical, if thats what you asked for. As for things to tell him to check?? If you have any constant pains anywhere. You've noticed something irregular lately. He will ask you a lot of questions, so be honest, that's important. Do you smoke? how long? If you lie, it will only hurt you. And your only 23, so you dont have to do a prostate exam yet. Dont press that issue, it's no fun at all. Good luck to you.
If you have any specific complaints or concerns, bring those up with the doctor. Give him a brief rundown on your family medical history (grandfather had high blood pressure and died of heart attack, aunt has diabetes, that sort of thing).

Other than that, trust that this probably is not the first time this doctor has done a physical, ya know?
Don't worry about it. The doctor knows what he is doing, and probably can relate to how you feel. He was 23 once, too.
Just tell him at the beginning, "I was a little nervous at first when I made the appointment, but I trust that you can help me through this." He'll say "Sure."

It's easy. Unless you have any problems, it will be short.
Your doctor will know wht kinds of things he needs to ask you and to check and tests to take.

If you have special concerns just tell him about them.
