Any good vasectomy doctors in the augusta, ga. area?

Question:
If yes, what forms of insurance do they accept?

Answers:
If nobody has any suggestions, just go to a non-profit clinic. Often they don’t take insurance, but the cost is very low.

As vasectomy is so simple that there is little issue of a “good” or “not so good” surgeon. The greater issue is if you are a “good” patient, or “not so good” patient. What I mean is if you follow directions or not. Patients that think they don’t have to follow directions end up with complications. Those that do follow directions never have any problem.

I had mine in 1989, at age 21. The total cost was $250. I think that was money well spent. I never had kids, but most of my friends fork out every month in child support!
Any reputable urologist can help you out. Make sure they cut out 1 - 2 cm and cauterize the ends, NOT TIE them! I had my vasectomy in March of '77...no problems at all. My father-in-law referred me to his urologist...had bladder problems...and it was the best $200 I ever spent (remember, that was in 1977).
