Cryptorchidism is a medical term referring to absence from the scrotum of one or both testes. This usually represents failure of the testis to move, or "descend," during fetal development from an abdominal position, through the inguinal canal, into the scrotum. About 3% of full-term and 30% of premature infant boys are born with at least one undescended testis, making cryptorchidism the most common birth defect of male genitalia. Undescended testes are associated with reduced fertility, increased risk of testicular germ cell tumors and psychological problems when the boy is grown. To reduce these risks, undescended testes are usually brought into the scrotum in infancy by a surgical procedure called an orchiopexy. Later the intervent comes and more is the probablity to infertility while cancer risk increases. Talk with your dad or mum and get a visit ASAP!
need to see your doc. This testicle may not be able to reproduce sperm, but don't the other one will have, hopefully, enough to make babies.
At your age, it is essential you see a doctor right away and get it attended to.

"Its called an undesending testicle, its fairly common." LOL. Thats the truth.
Go see a Doctor that you are comfortable with.... this is not uncommon, but you should talk to a professional about it and let them answer all of your questions..
What do you mean, it has not dropped? Is there only one testicle in your scrotum, and the other one is nowhere to be found? That should have been looked at by your pediatrician years ago as a problem, or any doctor that examined you as a child. If in fact it has not descended from its niche at the base of your penis, you should see your physician.
Some guys have posted a similar question, but in fact were under the assumption that the scrotum must hang down fully all the time, and that is when the balls have "dropped". Or they think the tem means something else.
