It's when an old man reaches into your pants and feels all around and if he likes what he feels then he invites you to his cabin lol... I'm just kidding I've never heard of this
dude there is no physical for scouts unless your scoutmaster wants you to go to the doctor (which is the best way to do it ) and have a physical. No one should be giving phyiscals unless they are doctors and depending on your age notify your parent or gardian that this is going to be done. if you troop is requireing it maybe they dont want you to keel over and die on a trail so they want everyone to get checkd out . the best is to go to your Own doctor and get it done.

The BSA promotes physical fitness in its members. The physical exam helps asses your personal health. For troop level activities, your parent can fill in the form. It basically asks if you are in good health, have any conditions that the leadership should be aware of (asthma, fatigue, low blood sugar, diabetic, etc.). This alerts the troop leaders if you have a condition that they should monitor you closer.

If you are going camping at District or Council level (camporee, Summer Camp), the BSA requires you to obtain a physical exam by a licensed medical professional. This can be a Doctor, Nurse, or Physician's assistant. Unless someone at your troop is a licensed medical professional, a physical exam will be done on your time and your dime.
