What are some ways to avoid unexpected razor nicks / cuts while shaving?
My dad usually gives me a shave. I want to learn how to shave properly. I must know what to do to (in both categories) get all the hairs off, different moves, and above all, how to avoid getting bloody razor nicks. I'm a grown man of 18, and I lack some skills.

There are almost no acceptable reasons as to why ones dad is still shaving them at 18; nothing could be easier than shaving. If you are worried about using a blade get an electric razor; even Forrest Gump could operate one of those.

I've always shaved after taking a shower and rarely get any nicks. Change your razor every 3 days. Use a quality shaving cream. I've always used the yellow can of Barbesol. For some reason other brands become to watery.
