Question:
1. the spongy tissue in the penis fills with blood.
2. the bone in the penis stiffens and elongates.
3. swelling of the testes pushes the penis up and outward
4. semen rises into the shaft of the penis engorging it.

Answers:
I'll try to be short and clear:
1 - Yes, that just is the erection cause;
2 - There is no bone in the penis but only corpora cavernosa (or spongy as you called it);
3 - Testis gets nothing to do with penis size or erections!
4 - No, sperm from the ejaculatory duct passes into the urethra (as the urine) and then comes out
1. The Spongy Tissue in the penis fills with blood.

Caused from a release of nitrogen gas through the spine. :D
