How to get a little buff looking?

I'm about 5'0"(5feet--0inches) tall, and weigh about 100pounds, and I want to get a little ripped... any nice workout routines? How long until I see results?

Dude, there are many things that you can do. its also going to depend on your age and how motivated you are. Whats your cardio like? I'll give you a rough guide but its best to go to a gym and talk to a trainer.
1 you are going to have to eat a heap of good food if you want to put on the beef. 7 meals a day. high protein food like chicken, fish, low fat milk, nuts and egg white.
2 High weights and low reps, meaning you should be hurting after 4 to 6 reps. you'll need whole body exercises and do at least 3 sets. twice a day, 5 days a week. you should start seeing results in about 3 months. Still motivated?
1 if you just want to get toned or more defined then eat food higher in carbs too, pastas and rice dishes and cut down on the proteins.
2 the workout would be about the same but lower the weights and increase the reps, so it hurts at about 10 to 12. same reps. you should notice a difference in about a month. you will also find that you'll get stronger quite quickly but wont look any different.
That's about all I can help you with without knowing more about your fitness levels etc. talk to the trainer at a gym and they can design a program for you. hope I helped a little.
