The best exercise for your chest is old fashion push ups.
Push ups work your shoulders, triceps, chest, biceps, and forearms. Pull ups are also very good to build up your biceps, forearms, shoulder, and even your upper chests. Pull ups also work your abs if you keep your abs flexed while doing them.
As for reps and sets, you have to find out what your comfortable with doing. You will want to start off with a lower number of reps, then add a few more every set.
Bench press for chest. Curls for Biceps and pull downs for Triceps.
I do incline and curls.

and EAT A LOT!!
push ups are good, but they don't isolate each muscle group for an intesnse workout. Also, for bigger arms, you need a bigger chest and back. No one walks around with huge guns and a bird chest.
