There is no counting them and I'm sure it's different for everyone.
there isn't really a set number. i know guys that have had several, but i've yet to have a dream that causes me to become wet, and i'm as horny as any other guy out there.
It depends on the guy's imagination i believe because ive only had one so far in my life but i know guys who have had over 10 so i think it has something to do with your sleep imagination(dreams). They are not bad but not anything that u want anyone to witness either tho lol. Be cool

Wet dreams don't necessarily have to be dirty.
Sperm has a shelf life. The testicals produce and store it. Even while it is inside your body, it gets older and eventually becomes impotent.
If you are not releasing your sperm (through masturbation or sex), then your body has another means of getting rid of it in order to make new sperm. That is called nocturnal emission (ejaculation in your sleep).
They don't necessarily have to do with mental or physical sexual stimulation. It's just the body's way of getting rid of old sperm so that it has room to make new, more potent sperm.

I'm a grown man and I've never had a wet dream. Other than normal discharge because of erection. I really think this varies from guy to guy. I don't think it's normal to have wet dreams or abnormal if you don't. A lot of times young men will have wet dreams before they reach the stage in their developement where they are masterbating regularly. They should stop when this occurs.
For the young males for whom wet dreams are their only means of ejaculating, about once every 10 days. For males who have other ways of ejaculating, wet dreams are much rarer.
