I suffer from delayed ejaculation?
I can only orgasm through masturbation and not sex. My girlfriend get sore after about 30 minutes of busy thrusting and she's started to question whether I'm attracted to her or not.
How can I treat this "condition"? Do I own to re-train myself to orgasm through sex?
Answers: First, off, you enjoy to figure out if the problem is physiological or psychological. Let's do physiology first:
Are you taking any medication? One of the most common side effects of SSRI medication (Prozac, Paxil, Celexa, etc) is anorgasmia (i.e., not mortal able to orgasm) or as is your satchel, needing a LOT of stimulation contained by order to do so. There are greatly of medications that can help out. One I have hear of is yohimbine. This is the active ingredient contained by yohimbe bark. Don't run out to the GNC to find some, yohimbine comes in prescription strengths - you don't know what you're getting next to the supplements or how much of the active yohimbine. Ejaculation is a result of alpha-1 receptors and yohimbine is an alpha-1 agonist. Of course, it also can motive transient hypertension, so if you already have illustrious blood pressure, this is bad. SSRI's are singular one of the meds that can cause this, so ask your GP or shift to a urologist.
How long has this be going on for? All your life that you've be sexually active, or did it start at some point contained by time? Was this point coincident with any physical problem or psychological event (death of someone close to you, divorce, etc.)?
Also, how recurrently do you masturbate? If more than once every day or two, you could be overstimulating yourself - near is only so much gas within the tank, so to speak. Also, you can generate more speed, tightness, and friction beside your hand than through intercourse - you may hold become accustomed to a horizontal of stimulation a woman can't match. Maybe avow a week moratorium on masturbation and sex, and see if that helps (or smaller quantity than a week, if you can't make it :-)
Of course, you could other ask your girlfriend to try PC contractions during sex - so called Kegel exercises. She can practice this whenever, and if she clenches during sex, it will constrict her vagina and possibly squeeze tighter.
Finally, if there is no physical solution, seeing a sex analyst or psychiatrist might be helpful. Not to make out that you are mentally ill, but this is clearly impacting your life, and an expert inference might be in lay down.
