Well i got a vasectomy in 9/06 and the doctor told me that the success rate depends on which process is used, but my count is 0 and the just cut and tied my tube and everything ius great now so i would say the success rate overall is very high unless the doctor had complications during the procedure.Goodluck
I am told the percentage is 99.5%. However some sperm can linger for months. It only takes one.
I continued to use condoms for almost a year after I got mine, even though I had a clean sperm count test done at 6 months. I was not taking any risks at all.
