How Can I hang out with the other dudes?

Question:

I'm a dude who lives about 4 houses away from a bunch of cool football guys, They're like twice my size and really good looking, so i get really self conscious when I'm near em at school. I'm so bored that i just want to run over and ask to play like basketball or something, even though I'll get my butt kicked, but that'd look really stupid. I know one of them on a hey what's up basis, but never more than me asking a stupid question.

I really want to just hang out with the guys but if i screw it up i'm done for! HELP!

How do i start talking to em without looking stupid, once i rode my bike by his house when they were playing basketball, and i stayed for like 5 min. they treat me fine, it's just i think they'll make fun of me if i make the wrong move.

Stop being self-conscious. If you make "a stupid move" then just laugh it off. Approach them with confidence and just ask them if you can play ball with them.

Confidence... they won't make fun of you unless you look someone who would be made fun of... try a change of image, look at the mirror and ask "is this person the type who is bullied around?" look at it to judge... then try to get a talent or something... mastering a sport or two will sure raise your popularity... people will ask you to join in games or sports of your kind if you're good... if you want to hang out with them, try to play basketball... if you're good they'll be convinced to let you join their little games... (of course if you're bad at it... who wants to play with you...)
