How much did your vasectomy cost?
I was told that it would be $170 out of pocket, after insurance. Full cost is $1700 and I am responsible to 10%. Sounds a little pricey.
Are within any ways to increase the amount of semen that comes out of my penis during intercourse?
Answer:
I got mine back when I was 21 (1988). It cost me $250 (cash) for the whole thing. I had no insurance; I just paid the full price. The surgery took about 10 min.
When I consider the fact that most of my friends are paying child support, and most of them pay $800, or more per month, the cost of the vasectomy was trivial.
In todays prices $170 is pretty good.
Don’t listen to “Pistol P”. He has no idea. Nothing changed down there. I have no scar. There is no evidence that I even had the surgery. A vasectomy is about as dangerous, and has about the same side effects, as having a wisdom tooth pulled (sore for a few days).
It is surgery and that is never cheap. You have to remember that several people get paid for this such as the doctor, the hospital and anesthesiologist and they may even find more things for charge you for. All in all, having a child and being responsible for the rest of your life costs much, much more. Get the ice bag ready! Good luck!
14 1/4 y.o. 140lbs. Good Weight?
I guess it depends on what kind of insurance you have. A friend of mine only had to pay a $20 copay....
Don't get one. It DOES change how things work down there and it does not feel the same having sex as before. It also effects your head. I wish I never got mine. You can e-mail me for details if you would like.
Is masturbation harmful to the health?
I had mine done in March of '77 for $225 with a guarantee that if anything went wrong that all hospital charges would be taken care of. The Navy would have done it for free but I applied in January of the same year and was told that October that I had an appointment for my INTERVIEW in November. I had my surgery 30 days after I went for my interview in Feb. Best $225 I've ever spent. Having a vasectomy means you never have to say, "YOU'RE WHAT?"
It does NOT affect 'what goes on down there,' In fact you don't have to worry if SHE took her pill, or if you're out of condoms, she won't have to go put 'something' in or use some spermicidal, etc etc. Your sex can be more fun, more spontaneous.
You're responsible for 10% of $1,700? Go for it if your insurance will pay all that!
My surgery was done in a doctor's office. I was shaved, a local anesthesia and snip. One small incision on the right top front of my scrotom. Wanna see my scar(not much of one)? hehe I did it on Friday, wore a pair of speedos (jock strap will do the same), felt very little soreness, went to a cook out at my in-laws on Sunday and back to my desk job on Monday. A bit tender for about a week.
How come only one of nipples gets hard?
Vasectomy, IVF (in vitro fertilization) treatment; IUI, ICSI and Laparoscopic surgery is very cheap in India. The cost is very low and the medical services are very good in India.
My cousin and her husband got their IVF treatment in India through the Forerunners Healthcare in India and is all praise for this company. She is a known case of PCOS.She is a very happy mother of a baby boy now. She just paid 2500 pounds for the full IVF treatment in India for which she was quoted 8000 pounds in private setup in UK.
Forerunners Healthcare is very famous in India. I read a lot about them in the newspapers. I have also read about a Chinese couple who planned surrogacy through the Forerunners Healthcare. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery and infertility treatment like IVF, IUI, and ICSI abroad for low price. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery and treatment can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.
